For confectionery producers, FOSS has analytical solutions all the way from quality check of raw products to finished and semi-finished products – and of course microbiological tests all along the value chain.

FOSS offers fast, accurate and easy-to-use solutions for very different kinds of production such as: cocoa liquor, cocoa butter, cocoa powder, crumb, finished chocolate and coatings.

The solutions cover: fat, moisture, sugar, sucrose, lactose, and pH as well as quality tests to assure homogeneous product, recipe control, as well as microbiology tests such as total viable count, enterobacteriaceae, coliform, E. coli and yeast.

The solutions are offered as laboratory instruments for batch analysis as well as at-line routine control and on-line solutions for process control in the factory.

Kjeltec™ Systems

Kjeltec™ Systems provide semi-automated to fully automated systems for Kjeldahl protein/nitrogen analysis and other distillation chemistries. The KjeltecTM series from FOSS is designed to attain excellent performance in terms of accuracy, safety, value and user friendliness. Used in combination with TecatorTM Digestion systems.  

 

Process Analytics™ Food

Process Analytics Food is designed for process and quality control of confectionery, salad dressings and condiments products.  

 

Soxtec™ Systems

The Soxtec™ Systems, the fastest on the market, for multipurpose automated solvent extraction of food, animal feed, grains, textiles, water, plastics, rubber and many more without loss of accuracy. The entire extraction takes place in a closed, secure system. A complementary Hydrolysis system enables Total Fat determinations to be performed.
